 Important Information

The NSCAA has changed it's name and logo. The new name is "United Soccer Coaches." Information can still be found by going to the nscaa website but everything is in transition currently.

Important Information for Coaches

On the Left side of the Home Page under "Quick Links"  - "Important Forms and Data" you will find information on entering data, players, and coaches.  You will find information on recording stats as to what constitutes a goal, assist, shot at goal, shot on goal, and save.  I have also just added some information on the Responsibilities of a Team Captain FYI.  THERE IS ALSO A LIST OF MEDIA PHONE NUMBERS.

New User Id's for 2017

There are new User Id's for the 2017-18 season.  For returning coaches, the new ID will be your same school letter code followed by 17-18 (no space between your school letters and years:  ex.  nms17-18).  Your password will be the same.  Remember passwords ending in 07 are boys and 08 are girls.

Copy of Stats prior to 2000

A PDF copy of the soccer book from 2000 banquet is in the Quick Links/NM Soccer History section.  I am working on cleaning up the copy, but this does have a lot of the information.  Please be patient as we try to recreate all data into a better format.

Maintaining NM Soccer - Please consider a Donation.

If you would like to contribute (as a booster club, individual, or business) to maintaining the website and potentially providing Awards for the All-State players, please consider making a donation to:
NMHSSCA  (NM High School Soccer Coaches Association)
8204 Loma Del Norte NE
Albuquerque, NM   87109
At the end of the Season last year I sent All-State Certificates to all players 1st Team, 2nd Team, and Honorable mention.  (320 Certificates).  I hope to do that again at the end of this season as well as expanding the awards to include either a medal or T-shirt.  All is dependent on donations to the website.  Thank you for your consideration.
FYI - Reminder:  I receive no money for my role in maintaining the website.  There is an annual domain fee and I make payments to a webmaster who makes adjustments, corrections, and changes to the website.  The only other expenses are certificates, printing, and distribution.

All-District Teams Visible

All District Teams have been submitted.  The teams now appear under the tab "All District /  State".
Please look closely at the list and "Contact us" immediately if there are spelling/grade  corrections needed.
Check Below for procedures for voting for all State.

NO HIGH SCHOOL ALL-AMERICA PLAYERS FROM NEW MEXICO

►The selection and recommendation of Players for the Rocky Mountain Regional Team and All-America consideration is based on High School Coach Membership in the United Soccer Coaches.  Presently Colorado has 125 members.
►New Mexico has 25 and one of those is me.  That amounts to 11 Girls Team coaches and 13 boys team coaches (plus me).
►To Be a Coach of the Year Regional recommendation you must be a NSCAA member.
►To Recommend an Player for Regional or National Recognition, you must be a NSCAA member
►It is not to late to join, go to important links on webpage or copy this to your browser: http://www.nscaa.com
►THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE COY OR POY FOR THE STATE OF NM.
►Each Year the NSCAA awards All-America certificates to athletes from through out the country.  Certificates are awarded on the basis of coach memberships in the NSCAA.  New Mexico has not had enough memberships over the past 5 years to warrant a National All-America soccer player (either boy or girl).  Each year I lobby for our state to recognize our outstanding players, however, selection is membership driven.

ALL-DISTRICT AND ALL-STATE INFORMATION

This information is primarily for coaches, but I encourage coaches and parents to make sure that your team information (especially rosters) are on the website, as well as other teams from your district.  Realize that Statistics are much easier to find and read on NMSoccer.  This aids the voting process.

NSCAA Membership (Join Now)

Each Year the NSCAA awards All-America certificates to athletes from through out the country.
CLICK ON THE TITLE  AT TOP -  GO TO THE  NSCAA WEBSITE AND BECOME A MEMBER.  IT IS FOR THE GOOD OF THE PLAYERS.  Only NSCAA members can be considered for Regional and National coach of the year. also.

PLEASE CONSIDER SUPPORTING THE WEBSITE WITH A DONATION

HELP SUPPORT ONE OF THE BEST HIGH SCHOOL STATISTICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN THE COUNTRY.
I want to thank the 12 different contributors who made donations totaling $900, to NMSoccer.  That has put us in a great position to complete this season, through the playoffs, and all-state voting.
NMSoccer is a website that is hosted and maintained by Sportsnet.  All the statistical information, standings, rankings, all-district teams, all-state voting, and posting of all-state teams is done through Sportsnet.  There is an annual fee for the site and the management of that site.  I am the liason between you (as coaches) and Sportsnet.  I receive no compensation for my role, but there is an annual fee to Sportsnet.
I am soliciting funds so that www.nmsoccer.com can continue to operate.  The annual cost of the website is about $1000.  That money has always come from BOOSTER CLUB DONATIONS AND/OR PRIVATE CONTRIBUTIONS.  I would like to encourage your booster clubs, private individuals,  or local businesses to again make a donation to NMSoccer.
Make Checks payable to NMHSSCA and send them to 8204 Loma Del Norte, Albuquerque, NM  87109
